Due to the offices consolidation in Poland, we are opening a new Department in Wroclaw SSC. As the Accounts Payable and General Ledger processes are strongly linked and integrated, the team will be in charge of both related activities. Therefore we are looking for associates with an Accounts Payable and/or General Ledger background.

Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are looking for Accounts Payable Coordinator who will be responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Bard Finance and their business partners within the Commercial and Manufacturing operations.

The team performs certain accounts payable, general accounting and other related activities from the regionally centralized location.

The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for coordination of the day-to-day AP operations, including:

  • AP Invoices handling

  • Outgoing payments & bank reconciliation

  • Validation and mainaence of vendor information

  • Researching and responding to invoice or payment queries

Additionally, as a General Ledger Accountant you will:

  • Be the our AP process expert and support AP specalist in the day-to-day operations

  • Coordinate knowledge transfer plans (based on agreed traning schedules)

  • Own AP process documentation

  • Manage daily workload and set priorities for the team

  • Report on KPI and SLA

  • Review and verify vendor master data changes

  • Act as a 1st escalation point for vendor inquiries

The successful candidate will have BS Degree or equivalent in Accounting is required and minimum 2 years experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable department preferable). It is also important to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals. ​

Additionally to the above experience and soft skills we would be ideally looking for: ​

  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative

  • Accurate and timely data entry skills with attention to details

  • Must possess strong time management skills and be able to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience with JDE and HFM preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Analytical and problem solving skills with focus on accuracy and efficiency

  • Fluency in English is a must
