BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) AP Coordinator in Wroclaw, Poland

Due to the office’s consolidation in Poland, we are opening a new Accounts Payable Department in Wroclaw SSC. Therefore, we are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Coordinator, who will be responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Bard Finance and their business partners within the Commercial and Manufacturing operations. The team performs certain accounts payable, vendor master data, payment and other related activities from the regionally centralized location.
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of the day-to-day AP operations, including:
AP process expertise and support for AP specialists in the day-to-day operations
Coordinate knowledge transfer plans (based on agreed training schedules)
Own AP process documentation
Manage daily workload and set priorities for the team
Report on KPIs and SLAs
Review and verify vendor master data changes
Act as a 1st escalation point for vendor inquiries
The successful candidate will have BS Degree or equivalent and minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable department preferable). It is also important to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals.
Additionally, to the above experience and soft skills we would be ideally looking for:
Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and within the Team
Strong time management skills
Experience with accounting software (SAP, JDE or similar)
Proficient in MS office
Team player with a positive attitude
Analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on accuracy and efficiency
Fluency in English is a must
