Job Description

We are looking for Data Protection Coordinator CEE , who serves as first line support and internal point of contact to their Business Units or Functions employees & line management who is responsible for personal information processing. The new person will provide support to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the countries for notifications to and/or authorizations from the Data Protection Authority for processing of personal information by the Business Units or Functions.

The cluster of countries includes the following jurisdictions: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Slovenia.

As Data Protection Coordinator CEE, you will:

  • Handle and support requests from the countries and/or Functions of the Cluster for guidance on processing of personal information

  • Provide direction to Countries supervisory bodies, line management and employees to ensure compliance with Privacy Standards

  • Design and drive the implementation of the Privacy Risk Management Plans to their Clusters/Countries

  • Prioritize and lead Cluster privacy initiatives to adopt business processes necessary for compliance with Privacy Standards (e.g. remedial actions implementation identified through privacy assessments)

  • Stay current with local privacy laws that affect their Clusters under their scope

  • Ensure that required training is performed by employees in their Clusters / Countries and input to the training materials to ensure that these are relevant, as well as design and deliver additional data protection trainings for example for new employees

  • Review of business monitoring, enterprise risk management or internal audit reports to ensure any findings or risk are remediate by the Cluster

  • Cultivate a data protection culture within the company and reinforce implementation of data protection

We would expect that you have:

  • Working knowledge of data protection legislation incl. GDPR

  • Experience in project management and status reporting

  • Experience in promoting a data privacy culture of awareness and understanding

  • Experience in developing and accessing privacy policies and procedures

  • Fluency in English

  • Experience in communicating effectively with the highest levels of management and decision-making individuals within the organization

  • Able to provide advice and training regarding data protection

  • Working well with others as well individually in a multicultural and multidisciplinary structure,

  • Easily adoptable and able to function well within a complex structural matrix

  • Ability to handle confidential information
