The role of the EMEA Pricing Processes Optimization Lead is to map and analyze - via applying Six Sigma methods - the process improvement opportunities in the E2E quote-to-cash processes: pricing, contracting, invoicing, financial data capture, reporting & analytics; to define the required changes seeking to improve E2E process integration, efficiency and quality: accountability of participants, transparency, predictability, reliability and consistency; align with the cross-functional team members on the proposed new process & IT solutions; document and coordinate the implementation, monitoring of the execution, Quality Assurance of Standard Operation Procedures in the EMEA region.

The main contractual in scope are linked to an online price & tender management solution, embedded into SFDC; new product introductions supported by multiple systems; and SAP S4/Hana-related processes linked to the generation of contracting and financial data by the Master Data Organization, Customer Service Organization (order entry), Finance and other teams.

All these tasks are delivered in alignment with the strategies and governance defined by the Pricing Center of Excellence members. This role will report directly to the EMEA Pricing Team Leader.

Beyond the that, the EMEA Processes Optimization Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaboration with the project teams working on the introduction of SAP S/4Hana – representing the pricing team;

  • Development of Quality Assurance measures together with the Pricing CoE members, ensuring reliability, transparency and predictability in the pricing & contracting management processes deployed in the EMEA region;

  • Collaboration with the Master Data mgmt teams with the aim to establish well integrated processes connected to pricing;

  • Collaboration with the Sales Force Effectiveness teams towards the creation and establishment of robust customer segmentation data management processes;

  • Contributions towards the briefing of vendors who develop new IT applications and solutions to support the new price management processes; coordination of the testing of the new IT solutions.

As from a successful candidate, it is our expectation that the candidate has 5+ proven track record in a similar role requiring analytical and solution development skills, with Domain Expertise on Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a demonstrable ability to mentor/train employees and staff on process excellence/continuous improvement using set standards. In addition, experience in SAP S4/Hana implementation would be a plus, especially considering knowledge about the contracting and invoicing capabilities of S4/Hana - the Sales, Finance and Service modules in S4/Hana.

Furthermore, the following skills and experiences, certifications are required: ​

  • Proven ability to craft & introduce optimized processes, ability to lead effectively multi-functional teams – good interpersonal communication & influencing skills

  • Bachelor or master’s degree - preferably in engineering, technical/operations discipline or finance

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Experience in leading, coordinating & managing projects of varying complexity and scope

  • Experience in the design, development, and implementation of multi-functional processes, preferably connected to finance and/or contractual, pricing areas

  • Strong analytical & solutioning skills in process optimization

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting (MS Excel, Power BI proficiency)

  • Excellent written and verbal English

  • Result- driven approach

  • Creates and maintains collaborative and productive environments for projects

  • Willingness to learn about pricing to represent the Pricing CoE in cross-functional programs

  • Travel: up to 20% (international travel as well)

Additional skillsets which would be appreciated - expertise in these would be an advantage:

  • Fluency and experience with any of these software and programming languages: S/4Hana, SQL, Microsoft Business Apps
