Our Shared Service Center in Wrocław team We are looking for Supply Base Compliance Specialist (Global Product Stewardship) to assist with collecting material composition, chemical, and regulatory data from our global suppliers and translate them into actionable datasets for consumption by our internal and external stakeholders.

As a Supply Base Compliance Specialist, you will be a member of an organization of dedicated individuals helping to drive BD’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy and working to identify and reduce the environmental impact of our portfolio and address the sustainability needs of our customers.

A Supply Base Compliance Specialist is empowered to support our design centers, business units, and customers by collecting material composition, chemical content and regulatory information from BD suppliers. Your role will involve contacting these BD suppliers from all over the world and working with them to obtain product environmental compliance information. You will be responsible for data gathering activities as well as data maintenance from/to corporate databases. You will also have an opportunity to conduct research from publicly available information.

This role will assess data quality and completeness, eliminate irrelevant data or inaccurate data. You will be asked to perform some basic statistical and analytical work and maintain data in a database. You will also be responsible for providing support and mentorship to suppliers and other BD associates. As we work towards product transparency, we are continuously improving our process to provide up-to-date information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow requests routed to the Global Product Stewardship Team

  • Triage and assign priorities to queue based upon customer need

  • Assess data accuracy and build automation

  • Provide real-time updates to key stakeholders
